Glover Community School

On April 11th 2026, fourteen students from Glover Community School brought projects to the Vermont History Day Contest in Colchester, Vermont.  Three hundred sixty-six students from 5th grade through high school from across Vermont prepared research projects to present at the contest, an affiliate of National History Day.  Students created exhibits, developed websites, wrote papers, made documentaries or prepared performances based on an annual theme. This year’s theme, “Revolution, Reaction and Reform,” inspired many creative projects from Glover on research topics from the War of the Roses to the fight for Women’s Rights.  At the contest students presented their work to judges and had a chance to see work from other teams.  The event culminates with awards with the top two entries moving onto National History Day in Maryland.
