On Saturday, July 26th, 8th-grade students from Glover Community School (GCS) wrapped up their duck race fundraiser by manning a booth at the annual Glover Day celebration. Students, along with their parents, had been selling ducks for the previous two weeks leading up to race day. This group of students sold 950 ducks, and the winners are listed below. I would like to thank all the community members who participated in this event to help our students raise funds for a trip to Washington, DC. This trip will be held in June of 2026, and you have helped the 8th-grade class get off to a great year of fundraising.
